Treats not tricks at Foxton Locks Inn Halloween celebrations

Spooks and ghouls, wizards and witches are coming out to play this Halloween at Harborough’s Foxton Locks Inn. As part of the celebrations, children will have a Halloween treat of a free meal on Thursday 31st October when accompanied by a paying adult.

The restaurant will also be running a competition with prizes for the best pre-carved pumpkins. Young diners are invited to bring along their carved pumpkins for judging by owner Stephanie Hamblin at 6.30pm.

“Halloween is such a fun time of year for children that we thought it would be good to celebrate here,” says Stephanie. “Many parents also have concerns about children going trick or treating – this way, children can dress up and get into the Halloween spirit if they want to. We hope to see lots of ghosts, witches, zombies, monsters, wizards and ghouls.”

The restaurant will be decorated in a suitably spooky theme and there will also be small gifts for those in fancy dress.

Young Halloween diners can choose from sausage mash and peas, chicken nuggets, fries and beans, cheese and tomato pizza, fries and salad, hamburger with fries or fish fingers, fries and beans with an ice cream dessert. There will be one free child’s meal for every accompanying adult meal.
