Leicester Tigers players boost to Harborough Late Night ShoppingHarborough’s annual late night shopping is to be given a boost by the appearance of several current and former Leicester Tigers players who will be appearing at the event. The players are making an appearance to help raise money for the Leicestershire children’s hospice Rainbows by signing photographs at the Andrew Granger & Co estate agency office on the High Street.

Current and former players attending include Scott Hamilton, Julian Salvi and Ben Kay – who was also a member of the World Cup winning England squad. In addition, the Tigers coach Matt O’Connor will also be signing photographs.

“It will be a great chance for Tigers fans to meet the players in person and even have their photograph taken with them,” says Jill Griffiths, Partner at Andrew Granger & Co. “We hope to raise a lot of money for the Rainbows children’s hospice and we are delighted that the players have agreed to come along and help us raise money for such a worthy cause.”

As well as bringing a selection of players to the late night shopping event, there will be a chance to win a signed Tigers shirt in the raffle. Andrew Granger & Co are also sponsoring the reindeers that will be appearing in The Square.

“It’s a big night for the town’s shops and we are hoping that despite the economic climate that this year will be a big success, with a few surprises to make the evening extra special,” adds Jill.
