The Harborough public and its business community are invited to the first Harborough Energy Summit, to learn how to save money on energy bills.

The Harborough Energy Summit, which is taking place as part of the Leicestershire Business Festival, will take place at The Angel Hotel on Tuesday 3rd November.

The general public are invited to attend the Harborough Energy Summit from 1.30pm to 4.30pm, where they can learn how to reduce their energy bills and stay comfortable in the winter months and beyond.

Homeowners and renters alike will be able to gain practical advice on switching energy providers, discuss what financial support is available, and attend the ‘Shedding the Light on Solar’ presentation with information surrounding solar energy.

Local businesses are invited to a business morning, from 8am ‘til 12pm, where they will be able to join in with a Business Energy Club Taster Meeting, and gain updates on the available support and legislation changes which will affect businesses’ energy and waste, as well as attend expert talks on solar energy for businesses, and join in with networking and Q&A sessions.

Landlords can also benefit from the event, with Landlord Energy Updates running from 7am-9am, 12pm-2pm and 2pm-6.30pm, with local experts sharing tips on how to adhere to new EPC legislation.

The event is free for all to attend, but for those wishing to visit the Harborough Energy Club Taster, booking is recommended. To book your place, visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/market-harborough-energy-club-3rd-november-2015-tickets-18774405753.
