Harborough company launches new telephony system for recruitment agencies

A Harborough company has launched a new telephony system for recruitment agencies this month (July). Agenda IT, who are based in Barking House on Farndon Road has developed the system known as Recruitment Agenda, to reduce admin time and boost sales.

Agencies in the region have been helping to research and trail the system which allows managers to more accurately monitor the quality and volume of telephone calls. As an introductory offer, agencies will be able sign up to a free month’s trial of the system.

“We have created this product from scratch to work specifically for recruitment agencies,” says Mike Adams, MD of Agenda IT. “The main feedback we have received from agency owners is that they want a product that helps their consultants make more outbound calls, automate temp placements and simplify admin.  Taking this into account, we have included these and 27 other recruitment specific functions.”

Speaking about her thoughts on helping in the research and development stage of the system, Eloise Shelton MD of Harborough based Vanilla Recruitment said “It sounds like the system will be a big time saver for agencies and my team certainly seem very positive about the concept.”

Mike is delighted with the feedback and the help he has had from the industry in bringing the product to market. “Employment in Leicestershire is higher than the national average and recruitment is fiercely competitive, so anything which can offer agencies an edge is of value. After carefully researching recruiters’ needs in the region, we feel confident that the service will make a positive difference to the day to day running of agencies both locally and further afield. – releasing valuable time for consultants to increase placement volumes.”

Time saving functions include the option of reducing administrative calls by introducing automated qualifying questions for volume positions. Customer service has also been enhanced through an email notification service to ensure that no client call is lost or forgotten. Real life calls can also be played back for use in staff training to highlight weaknesses or to showcase good practice.  Agenda IT also offer IT and telecoms support to companies across Leicestershire and the East Midlands.

Mike has been working in the IT business since 2000, setting up Agenda IT in 2010 with fellow director Natalie Bird. “After 10 years working for other people, I got fed up with having to install things that didn’t really do the job and so we decided to set up Agenda IT,” he comments.

Mike adds “With more than 20 years’ experience between us, we know just about everything that’s worth knowing about account management, customer service and project management, voice, data and video technical design, cabling, wiring, upgrading and implementation.”
