Market Harborough estate agency and chartered surveyors Andrew Granger & Co has compiled a free guide to help homeowners trying to sell their houses. The booklet is available from all three of the agency’s branches in Loughborough and on Rutland Street in Leicester city centre in addition to the Harborough office.
The free booklet contains a range of tips, varying from what to do to prepare your home for sale, through to advice on carrying out viewings. It has been developed by drawing on the knowledge and experience of the Andrew Granger & Co staff.
“Homeowners don’t always realise the potential of their own homes, and that is why we have published this booklet,” comments Mark Sandall, partner at Andrew Granger & Co who was responsible for overseeing the development of the leaflet. “In the current difficult property climate, homeowners may need additional advice to help sell or get the best price for their property. We hope that our booklet will help them to do just that.”
The economic recession has slowed property sales in many regions of the UK, although Andrew Granger & Co report that sales in the East Midlands are buoyant in some areas, including properties over the £750,000 mark.
“There are some optimistic signs and properties are still selling well if people know how to market them,” adds Mark. “The advice in the booklet is designed to be practical and easy to follow and focuses on tips for marketing, handling viewings and what to do if the property is not selling.”
